Importing from BrickLink

Bring your existing BrickLink inventory into BrickHatch by exporting your store data and importing it directly.


Overview

Importing from BrickLink allows you to bring your existing inventory into BrickHatch by exporting your BrickLink store data and uploading it directly. This helps you quickly migrate your store without manually recreating listings. You can access this feature from:

  • Store Menu - Select Import from BrickLink
  • Store Inventory Page - Go to Store Inventory > Import from BrickLink

Step 1: Export from BrickLink

Follow these steps to download your inventory from BrickLink:

  • Open BrickLink's inventory download page
  • Log in to your seller account if required

Set Export Format

  • Find the File Format section
  • Change format from XML to CSV

Download Your Data

  • Click Download My Store Inventory
  • A file (usually named invcsv.csv) will download to your computer

Continue in BrickHatch

  • Once your file is downloaded, return to BrickHatch and continue to the upload step

Step 2: Upload Your File

  • Upload File - Select your exported BrickLink CSV file
  • Continue - Click next to begin processing your inventory

The system will validate your file and prepare your listings for import.


Step 3: Importing Inventory

After confirmation item's will begin importing in the background so you can continue using your store. You do not need to stay on the page while the import completes.


Common Issues

  • Wrong file format - Ensure you export as CSV, not XML
  • Missing data - Some items may not import if they are not supported or invalid
  • Large inventories - Imports may take longer depending on file size
